About Me |

I grew up in a creative, inventive family that instilled a “can do” kind of outlook.

With a background in fine arts and apprentice to journeyman status in the display department of Nordstrom’s, I learned color and grew my appreciation of good design and the how to’s of decorative finishes.

While a senior in high school, I competed with young women all over the U.S. who also represented their school to a fashion board and Seventeen Magazine. I was awarded a trip to N.Y.C. by Seventeen Magazine along with 7 other young women. This was the beginning of my great interest in travel, learning and new experiences. To this end, I have traveled extensively in North America and Europe, living in multiple cities on both U.S. coasts and Hawaii. Each location has broadened my knowledge of architecture, regional design and art.

I am proud to be among a handful of women painting contractors. I love the transformative qualities of color and paint. Painting fits me. It is cerebral, creative and active.
