Betty’s talents are numerous and my home has been a welcome canvas. Her work is the first thing guests notice upon entering and they are in awe. For example they often must approach and touch the faux stone hallway. “Is this real?”, they want to know.

While I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite Betty touch here in my home, the latest faux marble archway, separating the living and dining rooms, is spectacular and will suffice as my favorite… until the next project presents itself.

But even more… while Betty’s painting your walls with happy colors and gorgeous designs, she also “paints” your life with her sunny personality. That alone is worth the price of admission.

It was serendipity the day I met Betty Reed at the Seattle Design Show in 2002.

My friend and I had just passed through the entrance door, and I was telling my friend I was looking for someone who could paint trompe l’oeil in my living room which has 20 foot ceilings. As I finished saying this, we turned into the first display, and there was this darling little pixie of a woman, who said “You’ve come to the right place”. That little pixie was Betty Reed, and she has painted just about every room in my house. My contractors even use her now. She is so talented, it’s amazing. We consider Betty our friend.

Betty is a dream. Unlike some painters, color consultants and designers, Betty actually listens to what you want. Your ideas always come first. She instinctively knows how to deliver just want you want and she makes sure you are comfortable and happy with all decisions. Betty is a gifted artist and has a deep understanding of design and color. She knows what design will look like over time and how color is seen in different lights.

Betty has given me numerous color consults, has painted my house inside and out, including a faux flagstone walkway that leads right up to my front door. She recently painted a Portrait Pastiche of my two daughters that hangs proudly in our living room. When people see it, they are in awe.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and referring Betty to customers for over 15 years. She is pure joy and works hard to make sure you are 100% satisfied every time. I simply cannot imagine my home without her vibrant touch.
