The Process:
  

Working together the client and I come to a conclusion about the design and effect that would best suit their home and need and desire.  Ideas and inspiration come from all around us – books, magazines, movies, art and nature to name a few.

An estimate is then presented along with a start and finish time frame.  Upon acceptance of the proposal one half of the total is then due with the other half due upon completion of the project.
 
 

I meet with the client in their home and discuss the overall design direction along with examining the soft coverings and hard surfaces that exist in their home.

Together we look at colors and the depth of the colors in the home.  It is very important to see the colors in the home to access the light from outside and the quality of light in the rooms.

I present my proposals in writing along with the color chips that correspond to each room.  My fee is by the hour and is due at the end of the consultation.

The client and I meet for an initial consultation* to discuss:

Where the final art work will hang.

Which painting or paintings we will reference.

The particulars:

Number of people
Size of the canvas
Background detail
Attire
Addition of pets

 
 
Based on this consultation, an estimate and schedule are proposed.

Upon acceptance of the estimate, a down payment of half the total is required.

The client and I meet to take photographs of each person and pet to be included.  The pose for each subject will closely replicate the referenced art work.

The client accepts in writing the final choices of photographs.

The work is completed and delivered.  The final invoice is paid at this time.
 
 
*Consultation fee is $175, to be deducted from final billing.
